🌿Sinharaja is a rainforests. It is in Rathnapure District. The sinharaja rainforest in the largest rainforest in Sri Lanka. 🌴 

It is about 9000 hectares in extent. Over 60% of the tree species are found only in the lowland wetzone. 🍀🎋  In 1840  sinharaja become a crow property. In 1988   sinharaja was made a national wilderness ared. 

The avarage height of in the sinharaja varies between 50 to 40 meters. 🐚🍁🌾 In 1989 UNECO included the sinharaja forest in the world heritage list, as the first National heritage of Sri Lanka..
